William M. (Bill) Stone
Director Bill Stone returned to the Board in December 2012 after a short break in service. Bill previously served on the Board from 1994 – 2008 during which time he served as Chair, Vice Chair, Board Secretary and Assistant Secretary, as well as serving on numerous board committees. Bill grew up in Ojai and Ventura with strong family roots in Ojai, and has lived and worked in the north Ventura Avenue area for the past 30 years. Bill has a background in telecommunications and has worked in the field for 35 years. Bill holds a license for cable contracting and works for Charter Communications as a Maintenance Supervisor.
John R. (Randy) Burg
Director Burg was appointed to the board in 2001 and elected in November 2002. Randy holds a B.S. Degree in Economics and is the President of a local corporation representing several manufacturers to the construction industry. He and his family have been residents of the Ojai Valley since moving here in 1977. Randy is active in the community with the Ojai Lions Club and has been an active member since 1978, having served as President, Secretary, and Treasurer. In October, 2002 Director Burg completed the Special Districts Institute certificate program, which includes studies in District Governance, District Finance and District Administration.
Director Kaiser was elected to the Board in November 2000. Pete has a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis in Environmental Issues. He has worked for the County of Ventura since 1990 where he oversees Hazardous and Solid Waste management programs countywide. Pete and his family have lived in the Ojai Valley since 1991 where Pete is actively involved in the community serving on the Municipal Advisory Council and Ojai Lions Club, coaching Oak View Little League, and officiating youth and high school football. With considerable experience in waste matters, Pete brings his knowledge of fiscal and environmental responsibility to the Board for the public he represents.
Director Jack Curtis returned to the Board in December 2014 after a short break in service. Jack previously served on the Board from 2002-2010 during which time he served as Chair, Vice Chair, Board Secretary and Assistant Secretary, as well as serving on numerous board committees.
Jack has an extensive background in the construction industry, including participating in the construction of portions of the District’s collection system in 1963-65. Jack and his family moved to the Ojai Valley in April 1962. Jack has been active in the community for many years; he has served on numerous local boards and organizations. Jack is one of the founding Directors of the Ventura County Special Districts’ Association (VCSDA) and the Association of Water Agencies (AWA) representing County Water Districts. Jack served nine years as a Director on the California Special Districts Association and currently serves as a Director on the Ventura River County Water Board (VRCWD).
Director Baggerly has served on the District Board since 1996. Russ has a background in environmental and political issues, having worked with the Environmental Coalition of Ventura County and for County Supervisor Maria VanderKolk. Russ has lived in the Ojai Valley since 1976 and is an active member of his community. Russ has served as Chair, Vice Chair and Board Secretary, as well as serving on numerous Board Committees.
Director Greene has served on the District Board since 1990. Stan has a background in engineering, having worked in the aerospace industry for 18 years. Stan has been a self-employed service contractor in the Ojai Valley for over two decades. Stan is an active member of his community, having served on various boards and committees throughout the area. Stan has served as Board Secretary and Assistant Secretary, as well as serving on numerous Board Committees.
William (Bill) Ulrich
William Ulrich has been a resident of the Ojai Valley for 36 years. He is the Principal in a Construction Management Consultancy, and has been engaged in Construction Management for large-scale construction projects in the Public Works sector, and for clients in private development, for over 30 years. Mr. Ulrich holds CA State General Engineering, General Building, and Specialty licenses, and is an appointed member of the City of Ojai Building Appeals Board."
